In order to make a sustainable impact in their communities and in Pakistan, our Fellows need continued support for their work and ideas once they return to Pakistan.

There are a few ways to get involved:

  • Serve as a mentor.  The Fellows need committed supporters to help develop and achieve their personal and professional aspirations.  This could include informal mentoring a few times a year either in person or via Skype/phone, participating in ELP events we host in Pakistan, and connecting the Fellows to other people in your network(s).
  • Provide seed funding (interest free) for the Fellows social enterprises in Pakistan.
  • Share training and leadership development opportunities and/or organize workshops on entrepreneurship.
  • Sponsor public events and workshops in Pakistan to enable the wider community to learn about these young leaders’ work at the grassroots level.
  • Help our Fellows find internships that match their skill set and interests.
  • Share Fellowship opportunities that could complement the ELP fellowship.  A few of our Fellows are also now fellows with other organizations including Acumen Pakistan, Atlas Corps, Swedish Institute’s 2013 Young Connectors of the Future Program, DO School Fellowship in New York City, Asia Society’s India-Pakistan Young Leaders Forum, and Asia 21 Young Leaders.

Benefits of participation:

  • Contribute to the development of Pakistan’s youth and take ownership for the next generation of leaders
  • Be part of the Atlantic Council’s global network of business leaders and policymakers
  • Gain visibility through recognition on the ELP website and through the South Asia Center
